We work with a lot of cafés but some you can tell are just a class above the rest and I’m proud to say that Paradiso Café in Cairns is definitely one of those.
When they were putting their designs together for their cups, two different designs for different sizes – we just loved them! – and we see a lot of designs come through. I’ll be honest – sometimes cafes don’t always spend as much time on their designs as what they could – but these guys completely knocked it out the park and their designs are absolutely two of our favourites.
Having seen images of the café and what they offer, we can now see how it all comes together to create the ‘Paradiso experience’ and that there custom cup designs really adds to the marketing and positioning of their business.
We spoke to Jay, one of the owners, who we’ve worked with a number of times now to get some feedback from him on why Paradiso Cairns is using custom paper cups?
“We really look at it as free advertising. I would rather spend a few cents more per cup on custom paper cups that have our logo/design strategically placed on them so that anyone that sees our customers walking down the street knows where they got their coffee from.”
We quizzed Jay on what other mediums they use to promote Paradiso Café? “We use a wide range of advertising mediums along with the custom designed paper cups to really help promote the business – Facebook and other social media, FNQ Magazine, Trip Advisor, Local Search, online newsletters to our database and of course – the best form of free advertising ….word of mouth.”
Jay went on to say that as a café, the decision to use custom paper cups was really a simple one. “Any type of establishment that sells a drink of any sort, should invest in custom cups – it is just logical! You want people to learn about your business and if you’re going to have to supply cups to your customers – make sure that it’s got your brand on them.”
